We have many ways for children and youth to participate at our church and be involved:
Nursery – we have a nursery available for children through age 4 during our Sunday morning worship service.
Sunday School – we have classes available for children ages 3-high school on Sunday mornings at 9:30.
Change for Change – On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, the kids collect change from the congregation to help pay for summer camp and activities.
Acolytes – Each Sunday, 2 children ages 5-12 take a turn lighting candles during the service to represent bringing the light of Christ into the church and then extinguishing the candles at the end of the service and taking the light of Christ out to share with others throughout the week.
Youth Group – we have a program for middle & high school students that meets twice a month on Sunday evenings. The group also has a monthly outing.
Vacation Bible School – our church participates in a community Bible School program in our area that has a weeklong VBS in mid-late June. Activities include dinner, Bible class, recreation, crafts, etc.
Summer Camp – our church has a summer camp for kids that have completed 2nd Grade-12th Grade in Chambersburg, PA at Rhodes Grove Camp. The church provides transportation to the camp and will pay for a portion of the costs to attend.
